  • First of all, It's a shame that this has been elevated by the media to garner such rediculous exposure. This man shouldn't need to apologize on national TV in fron of the whole damn country. Did he exercise a lack of judgement in how he handled the situation? Probably.

  • Being a former Californian, I can empathise with some of the rediculous impositions the state laws place on businesses. However, despite my loyalty to the Maglite product and my appreciation for Mr. Maglica's dedication to buy as many american made products he can, I have to support the CA law.

  • First of all, doesn't Joyce know that "there is no crying in baseball"? That aside, it's unfortunate that members of our society feel it appropriate to publically berate this gentleman for this unfortunate mis-judgement, much less direct comments made to his family members.

  • I was dumbfounded when I heard about this. No matter how you feel about him, he plain just doesn't desrve it. I'm sure if one were to go through the list of the other 200+ nominees that you could pick at least a dozen of them more desrving.
